Ice socks

I used ice socks today for first time. They stayed cold longer than I thought they would. I hope they work to prevent neuropathy from chemo

Defrosts too quickly

Received my cold socks and gloves in time for my second chemo infusion. The inserts defrost much too quickly. Changing them out with the frozen replacements takes too much time spent without cold coverage. Is there a way to prepare the inserts that would assist with ice retention other than freezing them in a home freezer??

Our gel ice packs are designed to stay cold for approximately 30 minutes. For the best performance, we recommend freezing the ice packs overnight and transporting them to your infusion center in a well-insulated cooler with ice or dry ice to help maintain optimal cooling until you’re ready to use them.
To minimize interruptions, many customers find it helpful to leave the sock sleeves on and simply swap out the gel packs while the socks remain in place. If your infusion is longer, we also offer additional glove and sock sleeves for purchase, which can make changing out the frozen packs quicker and help reduce time without cold coverage. I currently need 2nd set of gloves & socks ASAP

A second pair of socks & gloves would help in change out to keep cold treatment change out prompt & effective. I need second set of gloves & socks as I have an upcoming start date soon for second round of chemo.
